Custom Two-Storey Motorised Aluminium Screen, louvres and Finn Balustrade. ACMF designed, manufactured and installed a custom external motorised screen spanning two storeys of this residential building. Made from precision-cut 3mm aluminium and finished in Duratec Matt FlaxPod, the patterned screen provides privacy, solar control and a distinctive architectural feature. Integrated with the home’s DALE automation system, the screens can be repositioned at the touch of a button. Large structural supports were engineered to accommodate the scale of the installation and withstand exterior wind loads, bringing together architectural design, structural performance and automated technology. Also installed Finn balustrade and louvres for this project.
